I was really really excited for this outing. It will be our first out of town trip together and our first ride on a plane and our first year anniversary! So many firsts right?! So as early as March (flight was August, five months advance! hehe). I read blogs and searched online just to have a clearer view of what we're going to experience and what to expect. I also researched for good itineraries so we can maximize our time there.
Good thing, my boardmate went there ahead of us. Unfortunately she came there because of work not for vacation. She was able to talked to the receptionist of the hotel where she is staying and luckily, the receptionist has a house that can be rented for couple of days only and she is also providing tour packages. So when my boardmate came home, she immediately told me about this. I really wanted to see the house so first so she texted the receptionist and the receptionist emailed her the photos of the house. And i'll show it here:

this is the second room. It was close when we stayed there because we are only two and we wanted to keep the house by ourself..hehee |

So we already reserved the place and also availed of their Honda Bay tour and Underground River Tour. It costs us Php7000 (Php3500 each) for 4 days aand 3 nights stay, service van to/from airport, service van for every tour, lunch for every tour, entrance fees, boats and tour guide. Good deal right? In case your interested to get their service also, here's ms. Chie's number: 09175225178. Ms. Chie is really nice and will take good care of you and/or your company.
So the day came. We went to NAIA Terminal 3 two hours before our flight. Since it was our first, I don't want anything to go wrong. In fairness everything went well except for one thing, it's raining! I thought our flight will be delayed or worst, it will be cancelled! Good thing our flight still pushed through and it was ontime. Even though the flight was bumpy and it has turbulence all over still, we arrived at Puerto Princesa Airport at exactly 5PM of Aug. 20 (this is the exact day of our anniversary :D)
I can't described how beautiful the view was during the flight, so let the photos below speak for themselves :)

Puerto Princesa Airport is quite small. But it doesn't matter. hehe. Anyways the van was already waiting for us outside the airport. We were the only passenger at that time and the van is really clean and brand new.
After a few minutes, we arrived at our home for days. It was the same as the pictures shown above so I was happy. The caretaker handed us the keys for the doors. We unpacked our things inside. Took a nap for a while and we went out for grocery and dinner.
Based on what I have read online, the most famous restaurant in Puerto Princesa was Ka Lui Restaurant. You can't just walk-in there because it's always full. So you need to reserved. I already reserved a table for two, two weeks before our arrival. When we arrived, it was already jampacked with tourist both foreign and local.

Since the date of our arrival in Puerto Princesa was exactly the date of our anniversary, i wanted to make it special by dining here. This was a gift for BF. He was very happy so I was very happy too.
